How we use cookies on the Design Cycle Solutions public website

Effective Date: June 1, 2026    Last Reviewed: June 1, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website operators about how their sites are being used.

Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by third-party services that provide functionality on that website (third-party cookies). Cookies may be session cookies — which expire when you close your browser — or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a defined period.

Similar technologies, including web beacons, pixels, and local storage, may also be used for the purposes described in this Notice and are referred to collectively as "cookies" throughout.

2. How We Use Cookies

The Design Cycle Solutions website (designcyclesolutions.com) uses cookies for the following purposes:

Category Purpose Type Strictly Necessary Enable core website functions including page security, session continuity, and load balancing. The website cannot function properly without these. Required Analytics Collect anonymized information about how visitors use the website — including pages visited, time on site, and navigation paths — to help us improve performance and content. Optional Functional Remember your settings and preferences (such as language or region) across visits to provide a more consistent experience. Optional Marketing Understand B2B audience behavior and interactions with our content. We do not currently serve targeted advertising but may use these to evaluate content reach and engagement. Optional

3. What Cookies Do Not Collect

Cookies on the Design Cycle Solutions website do not collect, store, or transmit human body measurement data, biometric identifiers, body scan geometry, or any personal physical characteristics. This data is handled exclusively through DCS's secure platform infrastructure under separate data processing agreements and biometric consent frameworks. Cookie-based tracking technologies have no access to this data at any time.

Additionally, we do not use cookies to inject personal data into any artificial intelligence system, including any third-party AI tool or platform used internally by DCS personnel.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our website are set by third-party service providers that support our website infrastructure, including analytics and performance monitoring services. These third parties may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control third-party cookies directly, but we limit the categories of third-party services we use and contractually require that they not use data collected from our website for their own commercial purposes.

Where third-party cookies are used for optional categories (Analytics, Functional, Marketing), they will only be activated if you have consented to that category through our cookie preference tool.

5. Your Consent and Choices

When you first visit the website, you will be presented with a cookie banner that allows you to:

  • Accept all cookies (including optional categories);

  • Accept only strictly necessary cookies; or

  • Manage your preferences by category using the preference panel.

Your selection is stored in your browser. You may change your preferences at any time using the button below. If you clear your browser's cookies and storage, your preference will be reset and you will be asked again on your next visit.

Declining optional cookies will not affect your ability to access or use the public website. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the website to operate.

6. Browser-Level Controls

In addition to our preference tool, you may control cookies at the browser level. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Please note that blocking all cookies may impair the functionality of many websites, including this one. Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data

  • Mozilla Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data

  • Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data

  • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

For mobile devices, refer to your device's browser settings or operating system privacy controls.

7. Cookie Retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or are deleted. We use persistent cookies only where necessary for their stated purpose, and we do not retain cookie data beyond the period required. Analytics data derived from cookies is retained in aggregated, anonymized form for internal reporting purposes only.

Your cookie preference selection is stored as a persistent cookie for up to 12 months, after which you will be asked to confirm your preferences again.

8. U.S. State Privacy Rights and Cookie Opt-Out

Certain U.S. state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and similar statutes, provide you with the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising purposes.

DCS does not sell personal information collected through cookies. To the extent any cookie-based data sharing could be considered "sharing" under the CCPA, you may opt out by selecting "Necessary only" in the cookie banner or by disabling the Marketing category in your cookie preferences.

California residents may also submit privacy requests under our Privacy Policy at designcyclesolutions.com/privacy.

9. Updates to This Notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, prompt you to review and reconfirm your cookie preferences.
